I wish I had some poetic bollocks to express what I really want to say butI'm lost for words. To me you were one of the "originals" and even if we interacted sporadically (at best!! you bastard)I can almost recite word for word what you said at the times that we did. You enhanced my life spiritually, metaphorically, consciously and chemically and for that I am ever grateful. You will be missed dearly from a millions miles away (I tried to google the actual distance from holland to japan but it got too fucking complicated) and all that is left for me to say is this....
Ray..you'll always be in my heart as the first "adult" I could relate to and a MAN that was bigger than the drones.
May the wind always be in your back and the sun on your face.
P.S All my love, strength and peace to your beautiful family and if there's anything I can do (besides including your name in my personal Buddhist thank you list)..let me know.

i´m not who is you peor me une a usted y a todas las amistades de ray ese inmenso amor que sentimos por el,porque como dicen en mi religion quien cree en jesus no morira para siempre ,es entonces cuando mas claro tengo que Ray esta mas vivo que nunca cuidando de todas aquellas personas qu elo amaron y lo siguen amando aun despues de fallecer,MI AMIGO QUERIDO AUNQUE NO PUDISTE REGRESAR A COLOMBIA AQUI TODOS ORAMOS POR TI A NUESTRO DIOS,Y ESA BEBE QUE TANTO QUISISTE VER UN DIA ESTA BIEN Y TE VA A CONOCER PORQU EYO SIEMPRE LE HABLARE DE TI I REMEMBER YOU FOR EVER I LOVE

Who knows what death brings, I certainly don't. But I do hope that there is a chance that those whom I love and have gone before me can hear the words I say, read the words I write. It was only yesterday when I was cleaning out my car that I found a printout of the webpage saying that you had suspended your blog due to the untimely death of your only son and if he was reading it you want him to know that you love him.Could have been that which inspired me to look for some photos of the two of you.Anyway, job done, found some great ones on a cd that Jase took of the last time that he was in Holland with you. I hope that there is life after death and that the two of you are having the craic under a cloudless sky with a pint in one hand and a smoke in the other.I love you as my own father and I love your son. I hope to raise my sons to be just like Jase and you. X
